FR - Sölve, First paint

So, finally !! After many moons, first paint is on! Did stumble on another problem with fitting the railings, so I could not paint those areas there railings will go. But to eager to wait, so I put on first layer anyway - I had to see how it would look! The paint is all Tamiya flat acrylics. To one 10ml bottle of white I added 5 drops of blue XF-8 and 50 drops of black. Note, those drops are very small, see last picture on the little nipple I used to measure the drops. After looking through which pictures to include on this page I right away saw that I just have to re-do the rowboat, it is way to high to look right. But that is the only thing so far I know I have to re-do. Note the deck pattern! Now it really shows nicely. Some models I found on museums (including here in Gothenburg) have a just a flat clear deck with no pattern at all, but with a 3D printer this was very easy to do (well, almost..)
